BEFORE USING THE LATTECCINO. KEEP
THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
WARNING: This appliance must be
earthed.
Do not immerse in water or other
liquids. Danger of short-circuiting!
Never operate damaged appliances
(incl. mains cables).
Do not place the appliance on a
polished wood surface, it could damage
the wood.
Never touch live parts.
Operate appliance only through a
professionally installed socket supplying
the correct voltage.
Do not use extension cables.
Never let main cable hang loose, nor
remove plug with wet hands, nor lay or
hang on hot surfaces, nor let it come
into contact with oils.
Unplug the appliance from the mains
before cleaning or maintaining.
Do not touch the metal parts, the filter
holder or its housing when the
appliance is in use, as this may
cause burns or scalding.
Do not operate this appliance with a
damaged cord or plug. If the supply

cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
Dualit Ltd, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a
hazard.

This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with

capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person

Children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with the milk
frother.
Do not operate outdoors.
Do not operate with no milk in the jug.

BEFORE
FIRST USE
Unpack the box with care, keeping all
the packaging materials until you are
satisfied everything is present and in
working order. Once satisfied recycle
the packaging appropriately.
Rinse jug and wipe clean before
first use.

FROTHING MILK
Use the frothing attachment to create a dense and creamy froth
for topping your cappuccinos or livening up your instant coffees.

Hold the spindle tight and
slide the frothing
attachment on to the spindle
holder until locked in place.

TURN ON

Push the ON button to start
frothing.This will take
90 seconds. When frothed
the neon will go out and the
Latteccino will stop.
Pour milk into the jug
between the minimum mark
and the frothing attachment.

OPEN & SERVE
To open, press the button
on the handle and the lid will
unlock. Lift off the lid, pour
the frothed milk on your
coffee and serve.

shown then push down to

CLEAN AFTER USE
Non Abrasive
IMMEDIATELY rinse with
warm soapy water and wipe
clean after EACH use. Before
making the next round of
milk froth wait 2 minutes.

HEATING MILK
Use the heating attachment to heat milk and create a small
amount of froth for a creamy latte or velvety hot chocolate.
1 SLIDE OFF 2 FILL WITH MILK 3 LOCK THE LID
Hold the spindle tight and
slide the frothing attachment
off to leave the heating part
on the spindle.
Push the ON button to
start heating.This will take
120 seconds. When heated
the neon will go out and
the Latteccino will stop.
Fill with milk between the
minimum mark and the
heating part symbol.
DO NOT FILL ABOVE
THE HEATING MARK.
4 TURN ON 5 OPEN & SERVE
To open, press the button
on the handle and the lid
will unlock. Lift off the lid,
pour the heated milk on
your coffee and serve.

JUG, BASE OR LID IN WATER OR USE AN ABRASIVE CLEANER.

Clean IMMEDIATELY
after each use. Flush out and
clean the walls using warm
soapy water and a
non-abrasive cloth.Then dry
with a soft cloth.
Wipe clean with a damp
non-abrasive cloth.

WATER.

A layer of milk may stick to
the bottom of the jug. Leave
warm soapy water in the jug
to soak for 1-2hrs, then wipe
off with a non-abrasive cloth.

Never immerse Jug, base or
lid in water.

non-abrasive cloth.

Remove frothing attachment
from spindle. Wash with
warm water, dry and store in
a safe place. Do not use a
dishwasher.
6 CAUTION
Never use sharp objects or
an abrasive scourer pad: it
will damage the non-stick
coating.

HINTS AND TIPS
Here are some handy hints to help you get the best out of your Latteccino.
Always use your Latteccino first to froth or heat your milk. While it is operating
prepare your coffee or hot chocolate and serve immediately.
Use cold semi-skimmed or UHT milk for best results.The Latteccino works best with
milk that has a high protein level. Full fat milk will not froth well (fat content >3.0%).
Milk heats to the ideal temperature to ensure the flavour of your coffee is not impaired
and so you don’t have to wait too long until you can start sipping on your drink. For a
slightly warmer milk, leave in the jug for 30 seconds after the Lattaccino has finished
frothing or heating.
Keep the attachments in a safe place.They are small and can easily be lost.
After frothing or heating allow 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset and the
Latteccino to be ready for use again.To shorten this time, rinse with cold water and
wipe dry after each use.
The Latteccino is designed to heat and froth milk. If you add flavourings, coffee
granules or hot chocolate powder in the Latteccino ensure you thoroughly clean
immediately after using.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Here are a selection of quick and easy drinks you can make using the Latteccino.
WITH
FROTHED MILK
Cappuccino
1/3 espresso
Add 2/3 frothed milk
Top with cocoa powder.
Latte Macchiato
Pour frothed milk in a tall glass
Add espresso carefully
along rim of the glass.
Instant frothy coffee
Make instant coffee
Add frothed milk.

HOT MILK
Caffè Latte
1/3 espresso shot
Add 2/3 heated milk and stir.
Hot Chocolate
Pour heated milk in to a large mug
Add chocolate powder and stir to mix.
Instant milky coffee
Place instant coffee granules in a cup
Add heated milk and stir to mix.

This appliance is of excellent quality and construction. However, if any defects in materials
or workmanship do appear during the relevant guarantee period, we will, at our discretion,
either repair or replace the defective parts, free of charge, subject to the terms and
conditions of our Guarantee shown below.
This Guarantee covers both parts and
labour. Carriage is not included.
Your Guarantee period is as follows:

This Guarantee provides benefits which are
additional to, and do not affect, your
statutory rights.This Guarantee does not
cover the cost of returning the product to
the dealer from whom it was purchased or
to ourselves.This Guarantee applies only to
products sold and located in mainland
Great Britain. It does not cover liability in
respect of or replacement of plugs, cables
or fuses and also does not cover defects
due to:
Failure to use or maintain product in
accordance with Dualit's instructions.
The product being connected to an
unsuitable electricity supply.
Accidental damage to or abuse or
misuse of the product.
The product modified except by Dualit
or approved agent.
Dismantling of or interference with the
product.
Theft or attempted theft of the
product.
Before returning any product under this
Guarantee, please check that:
You have followed the product
instructions correctly.

Your mains electricity supply is
functional.
The defect is not due to a blown fuse.
If you wish to claim under this Guarantee
you should:
Send the product, postage or carriage
paid, to the dealer from whom it was
purchased.
Ensure that the product is clean and
packed carefully (preferably in its
original carton).
Enclose details of your name, address
and telephone number and when and
where the product was purchased,
together with proof of purchase (e.g. a
till receipt).
Give exact details of the nature of the
defect.
This Guarantee does not cover any other
claims whatsoever, including, without
limitation, any liability for incidental, indirect
or consequential damage, nor does it cover
any claims for conversion or modification or
for the costs of repair carried out by any
third party without the prior consent of
Dualit. If replacement parts are fitted to the
product this will not extend the period of
the Guarantee.
