Our thrilling 2012-2013 season features a wide array of performances including professional theatre productions,<br />
vigorous dance presentations, chart-topping musicians and classic comedic portrayals. With a season offering<br />
something for everyone, the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> is the place for premier entertainment!<br />
Ticket Sales begin Thursday, May 24 th at 12:00 pm via the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> website,<br />

We will kick off the 2012/13 season on September 15, 2012 as the legendary American music group, Blood, Sweat<br />
& Tears. Fusing the sounds of rock, jazz, R&B and big band, this jazz-rock band with such classic hits as “Spinning<br />
Wheel,” “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy” and “When I Die” is sure to deliver a performance you won’t want to<br />

MainStreet Theatre Company presents Pinkalicious The Musical, the first of three original MainStreet Theatre<br />
Company productions opens October 6, 2012 and runs through October 21, 2012. Based on the best selling book<br />
series, this musical version, written by the books’ authors, is sure to please all the little girls and their cupcake-loving<br />
brothers in your life!<br />
Celebrate Election Year 2012 with The Capitol Steps as the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> welcomes back America’s<br />
most hilarious political satirists with their latest, “Desperate Housemembers,” October 26, 2012. See the funny side<br />
of current events as political comedians inject a much-needed dose of humor and musical madness into the serious<br />
business of politics.<br />
Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre presents To Kill A Mockingbird, November 10-18, 2012. To Kill A<br />
Mockingbird is a tender portrait of a Southern town, brimming with powerful lessons of tolerance, justices and quiet<br />
heroism. Idyllic childhood is jolted with the realization that prejudice and bigotry rule in their small town when their<br />
father, a lawyer of principle and integrity, is asked to defend a young black man whose been falsely accused.<br />
Grammy-nominated band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy swings back to the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> stage in their jumpin’<br />
and jivin’ Christmas extravaganza, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild And Swingin’ Holiday Party, November 24,<br />
2012. This high-octane performance showcases a fusion of music ranging from jazz and swing to Dixieland and bigband<br />
featuring the popular swing bands’ one of a kind originals and some reworked yuletide classics including “Blue<br />

Japanese-Jazz fusion band, Hiroshima, returns to the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> with their holiday music concert<br />
Hiroshima - Spirit Of The Season, December 14, 2012. Joined by Terry Steele, former Hiroshima vocalist, “Spirit<br />
Of the Season” features beautiful renditions of their holiday songs including, “The Door Is Open” and “Silent Night”<br />
plus songs from their latest CD “Departure.”<br />
Founded in 1957, the Moscow Boys Choir is among Russia’s most prestigious all-male choirs whose powerful sound<br />
showcases seasonal music from around the world as audiences are musically transported to faraway places including<br />

MainStreet Theatre Company presents Aladdin’s Luck, live on stage January 26 – February 10, 2013. This West-<br />
Coast premiere is an imaginative re-telling of the much-loved tale! Aladdin, a clever street urchin falls madly for<br />
Princess Leilah. Determined to impress, he searches for fortune and instead finds a lamp with a magical genie that<br />
helps him masquerade as a grand emir to win Leilah’s hand.<br />
Renowned flamenco guitarist, Ottmar Liebert and his band Luna Negra make their <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> debut<br />

Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre presents The Fantasticks, the longest-running musical in history, March 2-<br />
10, 2013. This enchanting and entertaining musical tells the story of a young man and the girl next door, whose<br />
parents have built a wall to keep them apart. Nevertheless, the youngsters conspire to meet and fall in love. Filled<br />

MainStreet Theatre Company presents The Phantom Tollbooth, on stage March 30 – April 14, 2013. Often<br />
compared to “Alice in Wonderland,” this musical version captures all the fantasy and delight of the original and<br />
brings it vividly to life. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in Milo’s room, he follows the directions and drives<br />
through, only because he’s bored and has nothing better to do. But on the other side, Milo finds that life is far from<br />
dull – in fact, it’s exciting beyond his wildest dreams!<br />
With its underlying romantic story, Claddagh – An Explosion of Celtic Dance & Passion is a vivacious music,<br />
dance and multi-media spectacular that forges beyond the normal limitations of the traditional concert format. Don’t<br />
miss Claddagh when they make their <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> debut April 27, 2013.<br />
They’re back! Bob & Bing return in Bob & Bing – The Road Back to Cucamonga! April 28, 2013. Starring Lynn<br />
Roberts and Bob Pasch as Bob and Bing, these jokesters will delight you with their witty repartee and new duet.<br />
Inland Pacific Ballet’s Cinderella – A Magical Fairy Tale Story running May 4-5, 2013 is an enchanting version of<br />
this all-time classic featuring the delightful music of the famous waltz king, Johann Strauss. Don’t miss this<br />
delightful tale of romance and transformation told through the magic of ballet.<br />
Best described as “feverish, frenetic & hilarious,” “Comedy Magician of the Year,” Chipper Lowell makes his <strong>Lewis</strong><br />
<strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> debut, May 11 th in The Chipper Experience – Where Comedy and Magic Collide! This<br />
twisted, high-energy, family-friendly show is a wonderful blend of clean stand-up, original comedy magic, circus<br />
feats, bizarre juggling stunts and fun-filled audience participation!<br />
Our season closes May 31, 2013 with An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin. This comedic legend takes the audience<br />
on a hilarious journey through her timeless characters in this multi-media performance. Experience her classic<br />
characters in new roles in this laugh out loud performance!<br />
In addition to the many public performances, the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> offers special school group performances<br />
of MainStreet Theatre Company productions for teachers and students in elementary and middle school. These<br />

An intimate, 536-seat venue, the <strong>Lewis</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>Playhouse</strong> is the crown jewel of the three-acre, 89,000-square-foot<br />
Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The complex at 12505 Cultural Center Drive is conveniently located off the I-15<br />
at Foothill Boulevard, as a major anchor of Victoria Gardens. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from<br />
noon to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Parking is theatre-adjacent and free.<br />
