Welcome to our exciting seventh season
at the Lewis Family Playhouse! Once again
we’ve put together a wonderful selection
of theatrical productions, music concerts,
comedy acts and headline artists to entertain,
enrich and enlighten our faithful and ever
growing audience. This year, we are happy to
welcome back Playhouse patron favorites Big
Bad Voodoo Daddy, Capitol Steps, Hiroshima
and Peking Acrobats. Plus, we’re thrilled to
present, for the first time, such dynamic and
classic performers as Blood, Sweat and Tears,
Take 6 and Lily Tomlin. Our award winning
theatre productions will provide hilarious
humor and emotional experiences with
MainStreet Theatre Company’s charming
adaptations of Pinkalicious, Aladdin’s Luck
and The Phantom Tollbooth and Rancho
Cucamonga Community Theatre’s classic
fare, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Fantasticks!

Blood, Sweat & Tears, an American music group
formed in 1968 make their Lewis Family Playhouse debut in
a special one night only performance. Among the first in its
genre, the highly acclaimed band fuses the sounds of rock,
jazz, R&B and big band. Best known for coining the term “jazzrock”
with their innovative techniques, Blood, Sweat & Tears is
one of the greatest horn bands in the history of popular music.

To Kill a Mockingbird is a tender portrait of a southern town, brimming
with powerful lessons of tolerance, justice and quiet heroism. Scout and
Jem are growing up in the Deep South during the 1930’s depression.
Their idyllic childhood is jolted with the realization
that prejudice and bigotry rule in their small
town when their father, a lawyer of principle and
integrity, is asked to defend a young black man
falsely accused of raping a white woman.

The West-Coast premiere of an imaginative re-telling of the much-loved
tale! A clever street urchin called Aladdin falls madly for the Princess Leilah
when they meet by chance at the bazaar. Determined to impress the
Princess, he embarks on a search for fortune and instead finds a dingy oil
lamp. But this is no ordinary lamp; it houses a magical genie who helps
Aladdin masquerade as a grand emir to win Leilah’s hand. Leilah, however, fell
for the street urchin, not the grand emir. Frustrated that Aladdin won’t admit
who he really is, Leilah gives the lamp to an unscrupulous magician and ends
up his prisoner. Now Aladdin

They’re back! Bob & Bing return in an all new show, “The Road Back to
Cucamonga” with Bing’s songbook full of hit tunes and Bob’s joke book
full of Hope. Starring Lynn Roberts and Bob Pasch as Bob and Bing, these
jokesters will delight you with their witty repartee and new duet. The
pair are once again joined by legendary radio guest stars Jack Benny, Red

situations.
Becca and Howie Corbett are
returning to their everyday
existence in the wake of a
shocking, sudden loss. Just
eight months ago, they were a happy suburban family with
everything they wanted. Now, they are caught in a maze of
memory, longing, guilt, recrimination, sarcasm and tightly
controlled rage from which they cannot escape. The couple keeps
trying to find their way back to a life that still holds the potential
for beauty, laughter and happiness. The resulting journey is an
intimate glimpse into two people learning to re-engage with
each other and a world that has been tilted off its axis.
Rabbit Hole, written by David Lindsay-Abaire, received the
Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2007. Due to the serious subject
matter, this play is not recommended for young children under
age 12.

The Rancho Cucamonga Community Theatre (RCCT)
program is designed to provide a quality, learning and
performance experience for youth, teens and adults in
our community. Professionally directed and designed, our
theatre productions include large scale, Broadway-style
musicals as well as smaller, intimate plays (comedies &
dramas) and revues.
The Blackbox Productions are presented in the Cultural Center’s
intimate Studio Theatre space staging some of America’s most thought
provoking and charming works of theatre. With these

Broadway at the Gardens is taking a break! Our Broadway at the
Gardens audiences have enjoyed our annual, often iconic, sometimes
edgy and always thrilling Broadway-style musical produced for our

to do it well and provide a quality performance requires skilled talent
and top-notch professionals; we are dedicated to providing nothing

Provide a 25% deposit to reserve your Series, MainStreet or
Playhouse Package tickets and establish automatic monthly
installments on the 15th of each month to pay off your
balance by September 1, 2012! Tickets will not be

will result in loss of deposit and cancellation of your
order, no refunds will be issued.

Tickets ordered by mail, phone, fax or online will be
mailed to you prior to the show, unless otherwise
requested. Ticket orders received one week or less

Will Call. Stated prices include all service and mailing

The Lewis Family Playhouse does not offer refunds
except in the case of event cancellation or date
change by the Playhouse. Refunds can only be made
to the original purchaser.

Tickets may be exchanged up to 72 hours prior to
a performance towards another performance or
issued a credit voucher which must be redeemed
for a performance in the same season. At the
conclusion of the season, all unredeemed credits will
be considered donations. Processing fee of $2.00 per
ticket applies. Sorry, no exchanges are available on
complimentary tickets or events that are presented
by private theatre renters which are not part of the
