Chris McKeon DOCTOR WHO: THE WOUNDED EARTH PREVIOUSLY IN DOCTOR WHO… In the incident of Broken Sky, a time storm created by the Doctor’s interference on Skaro at the conclusion of Genesis of the Daleks allowed the Master to partially re-create his Dalekdominant timeline from The Final Game, albeit without the Daleks and without any life in the cosmos. The Master’s plan to use the Fractures, a mutant human/glass-men race of his own design, to invade the empty universe before the passing time storm restored the timeline was thwarted by the Doctor, who severed the villain’s connection to his TARDIS, and therefore his manipulation of time. The Master, already physically weakened after the loss of his final regeneration at the end of The Final Game, was further ravaged by the Doctor’s interference, and set out to seize ever greater sources of power before his condition wore too ill… PAGE 3
