DIAL LIGHT REPLACEMENT<br />
5. Carefully pull lamp out of grommet.<br />
Four wedge base type lamps (DS501 through DS504) are<br />
used in these models. They may be replaced in the following<br />
manner.<br />
1. Remove cabinet top (1) as explained above.<br />
2. Lamps are mounted in grommets (60 on <strong>MC7031</strong> and 21<br />
on <strong>MC7041</strong>).<br />
3. Remove grommet and lamp.<br />
6. Unsolder lamp leads and remove lamp.<br />
7. Solder new lamp to leads.<br />
8. Press lamp into grommet, being certain that it is fully<br />
seated.<br />
9. Press grommet firmly into light reflector (23 on <strong>MC7031</strong><br />
and 22 on <strong>MC7041</strong>), using a twisting motion until it is<br />
secure.<br />
4. Lamp is soldered to leads within grommet.<br />
10. Be certain that leads are dressed away from the dial cord.<br />
