The Bethanie
Crown Wine Cellars
Another venue sure to tickle the fancy of incentive
winners with a passion for history is Crown
Wine Cellars. During WWII, it served as a secret
underground military facility and was the last position
to surrender to the Japanese. Magnificently restored
and reborn as Crown Wine Cellars & Private
Members Club, the facility has gained UNESCO
recognition as an Asia-Pacific Heritage Site. Located
in Shouson Hill, an exclusive part of Hong Kong
Island, it boasts six underground cellars and a private
members clubhouse made up of two bunkers
located 60ft below ground, accessed through a
newly constructed conservatory. These three
function rooms are connected by a state-of-the-art
communication system. The clubhouse is ideal for
private VIP events, from a 20-person high-end dinner
in the Library to a 120-guest sit-down event.
