Participants will be divided into 2 groups
alternating between the two workshops.
Workshops will cover the topics of financial
advice for your retirement and how to improve
your communications with others.
Sunday, June 10, 2007 will be the BWA
Eshinniko Service at 11:00. This will be
followed by a luncheon at the Golden Dragon
restaurant, 1518 So Main Street. Please call in
reservations to Jane Sakashita at 582-0560 by
June 1 if you plan to go.
I would like to thank Reiko Matsuura and
Cassandra Van Buren for posting the omigaki
(alter cleaning) pictures on the website. Please

In every organization there are individuals who
work behind the scenes without being asked to
make the activates successful. I would like to
take this opportunity to thank the following
ladies for their help to make Sakura Mochi and
Ohagi for both Hanamatsuri and Nihon Matsuri.

Konishi, Jane Sakashita, Yuriko Dennison,
Yoshiko Uno, Takeko Doi, Ruby Doi and Dot
Richeda. The following ladies donated items like
azuki, goma, flour and mochiko. Takeko Doi,

The Adult Study class will meeting at
10:00 during the summer months right after
meditation. Please come and join us. We meet in
the West Wing in the Library.

Parents’ Day was held on Sunday, May

13 . We want to recognize Tina Munson and
Lisa Matsuda for planning and purchasing the
innovative and environmentally –friendly gifts.
Our appreciation is extended to the Jr. YBA and
Brenda Koga for organizing the gift
presentations. Our thanks to the YBA, Maya
Chow, and Troy Watanabe for providing the
delicious luncheon.
The Ogden Dharma School has planned
their annual Lagoon outing schedule on Sunday,

June 3 . Salt Lake Temple members attending
are requested to provide either a salad or dessert.
Discount ticket coupons are posted on the

As the school year winds down, just a
reminder of the Dharma School’s annual

meeting to be held on Sunday, June 10 , at
9:30 a.m. The purpose of this meeting will be
for board members to elect the new Dharma
School officers for the coming year.
Additionally, graduation and Dharma School
attendance presentations will be presented during
the Dharma School service on this day. This will
be the last Dharma School service held for this
school year.
Please mark your calendars, noting the
Back-to-School picnic scheduled for Sunday,

Canyon Park in Bountiful. Further details will
