STATE POLICE TROOP D LOGS WOODSTOCK Monday, Jan. 5 Nicole Kandolin, 28, of 298 Child Rd., Woodstock, was charged with a fugitive from justice warrant. DANIELSON Friday, Jan. 2 Craig Durga, 63, of 46 Academy St. Apt. C, Danielson, was charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of change of address. Monday, Jan. 5 Hector Camacho, 29, of 34 Palmer St., Danielson, was charged with third degree assault, first degree burglary. Wednesday, Jan. 7 Donna Fenner, 55, of 59 Broad St., Danielson, was charged with disorderly conduct. Friday, Jan. 9 Timothy Ahmet, 26, of 25 Broad St., Danielson, was charged with disorderly conduct. Sunday, Jan. 11 Memucan Acceus, 29, of 95 Cottage St. Apt. A, Danielson, was charged with sale of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances, breach of peace. KILLINGLY Saturday, Jan. 10 Shane Silliman, 36, homeless, Killingly, was charged with first degree criminal trespass. Sunday, Jan. 11 Gunnar Johnson, 46, no certain address, Killingly, was charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle while license is under suspension. Bradley M. Topper, 31, of 123 Green Hollow Rd., Killingly, was charged with interfering with a police officer, disobeying the signal of a police officer. THOMPSON Wednesday, Jan. 7 Matthew Fournier, 30, of 73 Babula Rd., Thompson, was charged with criminal violation of protective order, disorderly conduct. John Frazier, 19, of 14 Buckley Hill Rd. Apt. A, Thompson, was charged with criminal violation of restraining order. PUTNAM Wednesday, Jan. 7 Nicole Ladouceur, 33, of 9 Providence St., Putnam, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory, five counts of risk of injury to a minor. Arrest details: On Jan. 7 at approximately 5:24 PM, members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force (QLTF), the Statewide Narcotics Taskforce – East office, members of the Putnam Police Department and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) executed multiple narcotics related search and seizure warrants at 9 Providence St. 1st Floor in Putnam. Once inside of the residence, police personnel located several adults and five young children. Also located inside of the residence were sixty bags of heroin pre-packaged for sale, packaging equipment, several scales and a large amount of U.S. currency. Based off of the young children being located inside of the residence, DCF responded to the scene and a DCF investigation has been opened. Nicole Ladouceur was ultimately arrested and charged with violation of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and risk of injury to a minor (five counts). Ladouceur was released on a $25,000 dollar bond and is to appear at GA 11 Danielson Superior Court on Jan. 22. This was a joint investigation by the Connecticut State Police and the Putnam Police Department. PUTNAM POLICE DEPARTMENT LOGS Wednesday, Jan. 7 Trevor Miller, 43, of 25 Morin Ave., Danielson, was charged with breach of peace. Ralph Green, 33, of 236 Church St., Putnam, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace. Devin Kennedy, 19, of 184 Orchard Hill Road, Pomfret, was charged with possession of less than half ounce of marijuana. Thursday, Jan. 8 Ray Garcia, 28, of 46 Chase Ave., Dudley, Mass., was charged with second-degree failure to appear. Daniel Hayes, 39, of 4 Little John Drive, Norwich, was charged with violation of probation and second-degree failure to appear. Friday, Jan. 9 Joshua Morse, 25, of 25 Edmond St., Putnam, was charged with operating under the influence, operating under suspension and traveling unreasonably fast. Brandon Fortin, 28, of 237 Providence St., Putnam, was charged with disorderly conduct. Monday, Jan. 12 Hector Colon, 32, of 18 Smith St., Putnam, was charged with violation of a protective order and second-degree harassment. Woodstock land protected by Wyndham Land Trust WOODSTOCK — The Wyndham Land Trust recently received 15 acres of land in the town of Woodstock from Rebecca Harvey. The property is working agricultural pastureland on the north side of Route 171 and the west side of Little Pond Road and sits across from the land trust’s Little River Greenway — a 40-acre preserve that Rebecca and her late husband Cy gave to the land trust ten years ago. The donated land contains a pond, some shrubby thickets, and some scattered larger trees. American Kestrels, a state-threatened species in Connecticut, successfully nested there in the summer of 2013. It is the land trust’s intent to keep the fields in agricultural use, and the combination of the two preserves along 171 helps to protect the rural gateway into Woodstock. “I am thrilled that the Wyndham Land Trust will help maintain Woodstock’s rural character,” said Rebecca Harvey. “It is important to preserve the beautiful farms that make Woodstock a very special place.” The Wyndham Land Trust now preserves 2035 acres in 46 preserves across the ten towns in Northeast Connecticut.
