GYMNASTICS 6+
Children are exposed to a variety of gymnastics activities in a structured class atmosphere. Children will tumble, jump,
balance and swing in a fun and safe atmosphere. Students will be grouped by age and skill level so that they can
progress from session to session. As mastery occurs new and different skills will be introduced.

CARTWHEELS TO HANDSTANDS
This is a beginning tumbling class for younger children with concentration on teaching cartwheels, rolls and handstands.
Various spotting aids including wedges, barrel and back handspring mats are used to assist with learning proper
techniques.

CARTWHEEL TO HANDSPRINGS
This class is designed for the older child with emphasis on teaching, practicing and perfecting tumbling skills including
rolls, cartwheels, walkovers and handsprings. As children progress at their own pace, harder skills are introduced.
Children learn combinations of skills to prepare them for tumbling routines.

ADVANCED GYMNASTICS
Children who have passed skill testing will practice routines and drills so they may develop techniques and skill precision
in all gymnastics events. Email forsythflyers@yahoo.com to schedule skill testing. Leotards are required.

PRE-TEAM/TEAM
This is a flexible and open class format where participants may come on any of the scheduled days and times to work
on skills needed for competitive gymnastics. Additional fees apply for competitive programs which are paid to the
instructor at class. For fees and schedule information, please email forsythflyers@yahoo.com. Leotards are required.
