1. Zechariah 2:8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After he has honored me and has
sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches
you touches the apple of his eye.
2. Psalms 102:13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her;
the appointed time has come.
3. Psalms 102:16 For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.
4. Isaiah 62:1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.
5. Isaiah 62:6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day
or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest,
6. Isaiah 62:7 And give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the
earth.
7. Psalms 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure [and prosper].
8. Psalms 122:7 May there be peace within your walls and security within your palaces.
9. Psalms 122:8 For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.
10. Psalms 122:9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.
11. 1 Timothy 2:4 God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
12. Isaiah 49:5 And now the Lord says-- he who formed me in the womb to be his servant to
bring Jacob back to him and gather Israel to himself, for I am honored in the eyes
of the Lord and my God has been my strength-
13. Isaiah 49:6 He says: “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of
Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for
the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth
14. Isaiah 31:5 Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will
shield it and deliver it, he will ‘pass over’ it and will rescue it.
