Religious Education News
We will start taking registrations for
Religious Education after each mass or
come by the office. If your child will be
receiving a sacrament this year please
bring a copy of his or her Baptism
certificate. This year is a 2yr program
for both RCIA and CCD First Communion
and this coming year we will have
Confirmation for those kids that attend
Life Teen from 9th—12 grade.
Religious Education time will change to
10:30 am on Sundays.

UpComing Meetings
Eucharistic Ministers 10/2 @ 7pm Office
RCIA- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults-
RCIA- Once again Immaculate Conception and St.
Catherine will participate with the Magic Valley
RCIA this year, unless we have a class of five or
more candidates, then we may be able to offer
classes locally. Magic Valley RCIA begins on
Thursday September 27, 2012 at St. Edwards
Parish Hall in Twin Falls at 7:00pm.(side door to
the basement).
RCIA is also the place for those who have not
received confirmation and who may wish to
receive this sacrament. If you need this
sacrament this is the time to start. It is very
important to get your paper work started
early.
By our baptismal promises we are called to
encourage and evangelize within our
communities. If you are or someone you
know is interested please contact either the ofoffice
at 543-5136 or Jim and Linda at
837-6113.
We also need sponsors, do you have this calling?
Father Out of Town
Father Jorge will be out of town from
September 17—28. Father Boniface will
be covering mass and confessions. Please
keep father in your prayers for a safe
travels.
We will not have weekday masses on
September 25 & 26. We will have
communion services on
September 27 & 28.

Por favor no traiga a la Iglesia para sus peticiones las
Velones de Embase de Vidrio. Ellos no son nada seguros
por que se pueden reventar o estallar causando
un incendio. El departamento de Bomberos ha recomendado
usar los que se han colocado en los dos altares.
Por favor no olvide dejar su ofrenda allí para
cubrir los costos de estos velones.
Eduacion Religiosa para todos los niños
Empezamos nuestro programa de Educación Religiosa
para todos los niños, al igual que la preparación
para el Sacramento de la Primera Comunión. Ustedes
deben estar disponibles a inscribir sus niños para la
catequesis desde el Fin de Semana del Día sábado 8
de septiembre y 9 de septiembre después de todas
las Misas. Estamos dando este aviso con tiempo para
evitarnos la molestia o malestar de estar recibiendo
inscripciones hasta después de haber empezado la

Comunidad Hispanica
RCIA-Rito de Iniciación Cristiana para Adultos
Una vez más La Iglesia de La Inmaculada Concepción
en Buhl, y la Capilla San Catherine en Hagerman están
ofreciendo clases para todos aquellos que desean
conocer más acerca de la fe Católica. Tambien, para
todos aquellos que desean el Bautizo y los demás sacramentos
que no recibieron cuando estaban pequeños.
Las clases se iniciaran la última semana de Septiembre.
Es muy importante su ayuda para este programa.
Nosotros conocemos las personas que están
necesitadas de estos sacramentos de Iniciación y le
podemos informar acerca de esta oportunidad de
conocer su fe y acercarse más a Dios y a la Iglesia. Esta
es una misión que recibimos de Cristo de ir por el
mundo y evangelizar a otros. Por nuestras promesas
bautismales todos hemos sido llamados por Dios para
animar y promover nuestra fe. Los estamos invitando
a todos ustedes como católicos a que piensen en
la gente que no conoce acerca de Dios y de nuestra
Iglesia. También les pedimos a que oren por todos
aquellos que no están bautizados o que no conocen
de nuestra fe. Les pedimos invitar algún familiar o
amigo que se vincule al programa de RCIA como padrino
o madrina este 2012-hasta 2013, esto es una
experiencia maravillosa. Su interés es de gran ayuda
para esta noble tarea, no olvidar entrar en contacto

El Padre Jorge no estará en la
ciudad desde el día lunes 17 de

LIVING WELL IN IDAHO
The College of Southern Idaho offers Stanford
University’s Chronic Disease Self Management
Program, “Living Well in Idaho.” A 15hour
(6 wk.) long evidence-based wellness
course to help adults 60 years old and older
stay active and engaged in life as long as possible.
Those who have chronic illnesses or
age related conditions or are caring for a family
member who is, may be interested. The 6week
course focuses on coping strategies,
problem-solving techniques, behavior modeling
and symptom control through:
Relaxation techniques, Using medication Correctly,
Changing diet; Managing sleep,
fatigue, and pain, Exercise, Communication
with health care providers
Dealing with emotions, Goal setting
There is no change for the course if a person
is 60 or older. For anyone under 60 tuition is
$110 payable to the College of Southern Idaho.
A very helpful text is free to all participants.

Thursday Adoration and Mass.
Just to remind all of our parishioners,
Adoration is held from 5:00 pm to 6:00
pm, followed by mass at 6:00 pm, every
Thursday. We hope to see more of you
there.
RCIA- Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults-
Once again Immaculate Conception and St.
Catherine's are offering classes for adults who
are interested in learning more about our
Catholic Faith. Classes will begin the last week
of September and we need your HELP. We all
know somebody who has showed an interest
in our faith, somebody who asks questions,
who is searching for answers to life's difficult
questions. Christ told the apostles to go and
evangelize the world. By our baptismal promises,
we are all called to encourage and promote
our faith. We are encouraging you as
Catholics to think about those people you
know who may be asking those questions or
searching for a closer relationship with our
Lord and Savior. We are asking you to pray for
these people, to invite these friends or family
to come to RCIA and we hope that you will
consider sponsoring someone this year. You
may contact Jim or Linda McCaughey at 837-
6113, with any questions or concerns you may
have. We also encourage you to give our
phone number out to those friends and family
who are searching and please pray for us and
for this important ministry.

Religious Education News
St. Catherine's will start taking registration for
Religious Education on Sept. 9th after mass in
the parish hall. Registration will continue
through the month of September. Please remember
to register your child so that we have
an accurate account of books that need to be
ordered. Religious Ed. will begin on the weekend
of October 13 -14.

that would be able to teach a 3rd -5th
