carefully install cam.<br />

Set pan on block, being<br />

careful not <strong>to</strong> shift gasket off position.<br />

Bearings for L20B lined up and<br />

ready <strong>to</strong> go in<strong>to</strong> block: Note small holes in bearing<br />

halves for number-1 journal. They also fit in rear bearing<br />

bore, so be careful. Hole is needed in insert at front that installs in<br />

block, not cap. It feeds chain oiler and tensioner. Note width difference<br />

between bearing inserts. Narrow inserts install in number-2 and -4<br />

bearing bores in four-cylinder <strong>engine</strong>s and number-2, -3, -5<br />

and -6 bearing bores in sixes.
