<strong>Camps</strong> are held three times each school year on<br />
a landscaped campus with priv<strong>at</strong>e children’s<br />
gardens, an extensive playground and access<br />
to Shaker Lakes and Beaumont <strong>School</strong>’s Track<br />
and Field. Our LEED certified building fe<strong>at</strong>ures<br />
environmentally-conscious design and construction<br />
elements with comfortable classrooms,<br />
<strong>at</strong>tractive commons areas, kitchens, a gymnasium<br />
with a rock wall, an art studio, and a the<strong>at</strong>rical<br />
stage. Our children pack “No Waste Lunches” in<br />
reusable lunch containers.<br />

A relaxed version of our school year, our program is led by<br />
<strong>Montessori</strong> trained teachers and offers activities based on<br />
the interest of the individual child following <strong>Montessori</strong><br />
principles. The combin<strong>at</strong>ion of outdoor and indoor learning<br />
and play take place in a calm and beautiful environment<br />
prepared especially for young children. Six weeks<br />
only, with Before and After Care available.<br />

For children entering first through eighth grade in the fall,<br />
campers cre<strong>at</strong>e individualized schedules from a rich and<br />
diverse array of offerings. We offer small classes, enthusiastic,<br />
dedic<strong>at</strong>ed teachers and emphasize cooper<strong>at</strong>ive and<br />
fun-filled learning. Older campers plan and <strong>at</strong>tend off-site<br />
explor<strong>at</strong>ions chaperoned by staff. The Beaumont Athletic<br />
Track and Field and the N<strong>at</strong>ure Center <strong>at</strong> Shaker Lakes<br />
provide an extended outdoor space for campers to have<br />
a joyful and fun summer experience. Three or six week<br />
options, with Before and After Care available.<br />
