the Cloisters special exhibition, The Game of Kings: Medieval Ivory Chessmen from the Isle of<br />
Lewis. The Lewis Chessmen are the world's most famous chess pieces, known to chess<br />
aficionados but also to fans of Harry Potter. Found on the island of Lewis off the west coast of<br />
Scotland in 1843, and dating to the twelfth century, these charming carvings are among the first<br />
to include the full cast of characters seen on modern boards. A lovely lunch will follow your<br />
