The Dehydro 6480 Redispersible Polymer
Powder redisperses in water to produce final
characteristics of a liquid vinyl acrylic
dispersion.
The Dehydro 6480 is used wherever a
binder or performance modifier of a vinyl
acrylic dispersion is needed, but where the
desired end product is in powder form.
Incorporating Dehydro 6480 improves the
application properties of a standard mortar
mix. Dehydro 6480 improves flexibility,
adhesion properties, mechanical properties,
workability and working time.

free, contains a proprietary. Dehydro 6480
is fully compatible with systems containing

Storage:
Dehydro 6480 should be stored in a dry
location, avoiding damp or humid conditions.
Preferably avoid temperatures exceeding
25ºC. It is recommended to avoid stacking
items on top of bags without a protective
cardboard outer, so as to avoid caking.
Opened sacks should be used promptly.
Storage life should not exceed six months.
Dehydro 6480 blended with cementitious
binders or fillers has a better storage life due to
the inherent nature of the made up product.
Processing:
Dehydro 6480 Redispersible Polymer Powder
will redisperse in water to form a dispersion. The
Dehydro range of products are able to blended
with other additives to produce a powder based
finished product such as mortars, adhesives and
other compounds. When the finished product is
being mixed with water, high temperatures and
severe agitation should be avoided, so as to avoid
the inclusion of air and lumping of the mixture due
to thermoplastic agglomeration. Before use, the
made up product performs best if allowed to stand
for 30 seconds, then remixed for use.

Regulations:
Dehydro 6480 is not classed as dangerous or
hazardous for transport purposes. Dehydro
6480 is both unclassified and non-toxic according
to 99/45/EC.
