From Fabric A (CWSB 201 YY), cut:
• See instructions to make 12 daisies
From Fabric B (CWSB 201 LO), cut:
• See instructions to make 26 daisy centers
From Fabric C (CWEA 200 Y), cut:
• See instructions to make 14 daisies
From Fabric D (CWSB 201 VV), cut:
• (1) 3 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strip; cut into (8) 3 7 /8˝ squares. Cut the
squares in half diagonally to yield (16) triangles.
From Fabric E (CWSB 201 L), cut:
• (1) 3 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strip; cut into (8) 3 7 /8˝ squares. Cut
the squares in half diagonally to yield (16) triangles.
• (6) 2˝ x 42˝ strips
• (6) 2 1 /2˝ x 42˝ binding strips
From Fabric F (CWSB 201 BV), cut:
• (2) 3 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strips; cut into (16) 3 7 /8˝ squares. Cut
the squares in half diagonally to yield (32) triangles.
From Fabric G (CWSB 201 LB), cut:
• (3) 3 1 /2˝ x 42˝ strips; cut into (32) 3 1 /2˝ squares
From Fabric H (CWSB 201 TT), cut:
• (2) 3 1 /2˝ x 42˝ strips; cut into (16) 3 1 /2˝ squares
• (1) 6 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strip; cut (2) 6 7 /8˝ squares
From Fabric I (CWSB 201 M), cut:
• (2) 3 1 /2˝ x 42˝ strips; cut into (16) 3 1 /2˝ squares

From Fabric J (CWSB 201 GG), cut:
• (2) 3 1/2” x 42˝ strips; cut into (16) 3 1 /2˝ squares
• See instructions to cut (36) leaves.
From Fabric K (CWSB 201 GL), cut:
• (2) 3 1 /2˝ x 42˝ strips; cut into (20) 3 1 /2˝ squares
• (4) 3 /8˝ x 36˝ bias strips*
• (4) 3 /8˝ x 14˝ bias strips*
• (2) 3 /8˝ x 48˝ bias strips*
From Fabric L (CWSB 201 EE), cut:
• (3) 6 1 /2˝ x 42˝ strips
• (2) 12 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strips; cut (6) 12 7 /8˝ squares. Cut
the squares in half diagonally to make (12) triangles.
• (1) 6 7 /8˝ x 42˝ strip; cut into (6) 6 7 /8˝ squares. Cut
(4) of the squares in half diagonally to make (8) triangles.
*Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to press fusible web to
the wrong of the remaining piece of Fabric K before cutting the
bias strips.
Block Assembly
1. Lay out one Fabric I square, one Fabric K square, two
Fabric G squares, one Fabric J square, one Fabric H 3 1 /2˝
square, two Fabric F triangles, one Fabric E triangle, and
one Fabric D triangle as shown. Join the pieces into rows
and then join the rows to make a pieced triangle. Repeat
to make a total of 16 pieced triangles.
2. Sew one Fabric L 12 7 /8˝
triangle to one pieced triangle to
make a block.
The block
should measure
12 1 /2˝ square.
Repeat to make
12 of Block One.

3. Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong side
of the two remaining Fabric L 6 7 /8˝ squares. Layer a
marked square right sides together with a Fabric H 6 7 /8˝
square. Sew 1 /4˝ on each side of the marked line. Cut the
squares apart on the drawn line to make two H/L halfsquare-triangle
units. The units should to measure 6 1 /2˝
square. Make a total of four H/L squares.

of each shape with a decorative stitch such as a buttonhole
or satin stitch. Note: You will not fuse the four center daisies
to the quarter units until the units are sewn together.

4. Draw a line from corner to corner on the wrong
side of the four remaining Fabric K squares. Place a
marked square on the “H” corner of an H/L unit, right
sides together. Sew on the marked line and trim the
excess corner fabric, leaving a 1 /4˝ seam allowance to
make a 6 1 /2˝ square unit. Repeat to make four units.

5. Sew two Fabric L 6 7 /8˝
triangles to adjacent sides of
each unit from step 4 as shown
to make a large triangle unit.
6. Join a triangle unit from step 5 to the long edge of
each of the remaining pieced triangles from step 1 to
make four of Block Two. The blocks should measure
12 1 /2˝ square. (See illustration following step 10.)
7. Join three of Block One and one of Block Two to
make a quarter unit. The unit should measure 24 1 /2˝
square. Make a total of four quarter units.
Fusible Appliqué Instructions
8. Following the manufacturer’s instructions, trace 26
Daisies, 26 Daisy centers, and 76 Leaves onto the paper
side of the fusible web. Roughly cut out each shape,
leaving about 1 /4˝ margin all around the drawn lines.
9. Referring to the cutting list, fuse the shapes to the
wrong side of the fabrics as indicated. Cut out each shape
on the drawn lines.
10. Fuse three Daisies, three Daisy centers, twelve
Leaves, one 36˝-long bias strip, and one 14˝-long bias
11. Lay out the appliquéd quarter units as shown in the
photo. Join the units into rows and then join the rows to
complete the quilt center. The quilt center should
measure 48 1 /2˝ square.
12. Referring to the photo for placement guidance, fuse
the remaining Daisies and Daisy centers in the middle of
the quilt center. Finish the raw edges of each shape with
a decorative stitch.
13. Join the Fabric L 6 1 /2˝-wide strips end to end to
make a long strip. From the pieced strip, cut two 48 1 /2˝long
strips.
14. Referring to the photo for placement guidance,
fuse five Daisies, five Daisy centers, fourteen leaves, and
one 3 /8˝ x 48˝ bias strip to a 48 1 /2˝-long strip from step
13 to make a border strip. Repeat to make a second
border strip. Finish the raw edges of each shape with a
decorative stitch such as a buttonhole or satin stitch.
15. Join the Fabric E 2˝-wide strips end to end to make
a long strip. From the pieced strip, cut four 48 1 /2˝-long
strips. Sew Fabric E strips to both long edges of each
appliquéd border strip to make two border units.
16. Sew the border units to the top and bottom of the
quilt center to complete the quilt top.
17. Layer the quilt top with batting and backing; baste.
Quilt as desired. Using the 2 1 /2˝-wide binding strips,
bind the edges to finish.
