CORNUCOPIA - 12”
Perhaps no other symbol is associated with
Thanksgiving more than a Cornucopia. This
just happens to be the name of a traditional
quilting block, so I had to make it my choice
for the Thanksgiving season. The intermediate
pattern uses beautiful colors reminiscent of
the grapes that often grace a “Horn of Plenty”
I chose fabrics from the Kensington Gardens
fabric line by P&B Textiles. www.pbtex.com

Cut (2) 2-1/2” x 4-1/2” medium green print rectangles

Cut (2) 2-1/2” purple floral print squares
Cut (2) 2-1/2” medium green print squares

Cut (2) 3-1/4” medium green print squares, then cut
diagonally twice to make (8) triangles.
(You will use 6 for the block)
