AIAW Championships<br />
The Michigan State women’s golf program has a rich and storied past. Under the<br />
direction of head coach Mary Fossum, MSU advanced to six AIAW Championships<br />
including a best-ever fourth-place finish in 1973.<br />
Prior to the AIAW Championships, MSU had two individuals win the Women’s<br />
Collegiate Golf Tournament. Joyce Kazmierski won the crown in 1966, while Shirley<br />
Sport was the medalist in 1947.<br />
