Woodchester Mansion A gothic revival Mansion abandoned incomplete; saved from dereliction. Hear the story of the mansion, experience the mystery of this unfinished masterpiece, said to be haunted. Close by is Hetty Pegler's Tump, a communal burial mound dating back to the Neolithic period. Coaley Peak with its picnic site, nature reserve and burial mound forms part of the route of the Cotswold Way. A favourite area for walking, hang gliding, flying model aircraft or enjoying a picnic whilst watching the gliders overhead. Many fine views. Cam Jubilee Playing Field Fifteen acres of open space with beautiful views; exercise or relaxation for all the family. Football pitches, skate park, ball court, climb stones, fitness equipment, junior trim trail and easy access perimeter path. - - - - The Cotswold Way A National Trail since 1998, the 100 mile route runs from Chipping Campden to Bath. From alongside Coaley Peak it descends to the market town of Dursley which has a range of shops, eating places and real-ale pubs.
