THE MARRIAGE ORDINANCE

and Ordinances 4 of 1962 and 1 of 1964).
RULES.

SENIOR JUDGE.
In exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section (2)
of Section 15A of the Marriage Ordinance, the Senior Judge
hereby makes the following Rules:-
1. These Rules may be cited as the Infant Parties
(Application for Consent to Marry) (Procedure) Rules, 1964.
2. Any application under sub-section (1) of Section 15A
of the Marriage Ordinance may be disposed of in Chambers
and may be made by an Originating Summons.
3. An Originating Summons under Rule 2 of these Rules
shall be taken out by the infant party interested in the relief
sought, and shall be served on the person entitled to give his
consent to the marriage of such party under the provisions of
the Ordinance :

Provided that the Court may direct that service shall
be effected on any person not originally served or shall be
effected out of the jurisdiction by the same method and subject
to the same conditions as a Writ of Summons is served out
of the jurisdiction under the provisions of Order 6 of the Civil
Procedure Rules.

instructions of the Senior Judge and the official seal of the
Court at Episkopi / Dhekelia this 1st day of June, 1964.
