The anti-corrosive coating process is fully automated: Cleaning, phosphating and 

polyester powder coating. The benefits of the process are tested in large-scale salt mist 

chambers and in long-term tests at the North Sea. 

All Triax Dishes are wind-tunnel tested according to ETSI standard ETS300784. This 

requires the dish to be exposed to varying wind velocities of up to 42ms -1 , from all 

directions and elevations. 

Triax offers a series of dishes with appropriate small gain intervals, approx 1.5 db between 

each variant from which the different dish sizes result. 

Mechanical strength is tested by exposure to 100,000 vibrations at resonance 

frequencies.

TV Aerials 


Triax aerials are manufactured with the utmost accuracy to ensure 

maximum gain. Triax aerials comply with the DS/EN 50083-1 

standard and are fatigue tested by more than 100,000 vibrations at 

the physical resonate frequency. Triax units are tested in an 

industrial lab against salt mist tests and at the North Sea, where it is 

exposed to hostile weather conditions for extended periods. 



For the mechanical construction of all Triax aerials a strong 

aluminium boom is used. The Dipole elements are mounted 

with a strong bracket made of metal or plastic. 

The Dipole is mounted with a cable housing made of 

polyethylene which is highly resistant to thermal fluctuations 

(Sunlight & UV).. 

The cable housing contains an impedance transformer 300/75 

Ohm. Provided with your aerial is a strong mast bracket to 

enable mounting on the mast without using any tools.

The Combolook is a Swedish made SAT-TV/CATV instrument and 

spectrum analyser. 

The unit is engineered for exact alignment and adjustment of satellite 

dishes and aerial antennas. Also a must to set-up multiswitches.

The Sat Look MICRO G2, is unique as it can measure satellite signal from two 

LNBs at the same time. Signal strength is presented graphically on the LCD
