CONCESSION AGREEMENT<br />
BElWEEN<br />
CITY OF CORAL GABLES<br />
AND<br />
ROBERT MAGUIRE<br />
THIS AGREEMENT,. made <strong>an</strong>d entered in<strong>to</strong> at Coral Gables, Dade<br />
County,.Florida on this ,,-Q" d.- day of ()cf-ul~ r 2003, by <strong>an</strong>d<br />
between the CITY OF CORAL GABLES, a municipal corporation of Florida,<br />
herelnafter called LESSOR, <strong>an</strong>d ROBERT MAGUIRE, hereinafter called, LESSEE.<br />
WHEREAS, the LESSOR does desire <strong>to</strong> enter in<strong>to</strong> <strong>an</strong> agreement<br />
with a qualified opera<strong>to</strong>r for the operation of the Gr<strong>an</strong>ada Snack Shop, owned by<br />
the CITY <strong>an</strong>d located at the Gr<strong>an</strong>ada Golf Course; <strong>an</strong>d<br />
WHEREAS, the LESSEE<br />
premises; <strong>an</strong>d<br />
declares that he has examined the<br />
WHEREAS, the LESSEE has negotiated <strong>to</strong> operate the above<br />
referenced facility; <strong>an</strong>d<br />
WHEREAS, the LESSOR has determined that <strong>an</strong> agreement should<br />
be entered in<strong>to</strong> with the LESSEE, ,<br />
as follows:<br />
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties <strong>to</strong> this agreement do hereby agree<br />
ARTICLE 1<br />
1.1 TERM: The LESSOR hereby agrees <strong>to</strong> a Concession Agreement<br />
with the LESSEE for a term of three (3) years, commencing September 1, 2003 '<br />
<strong>an</strong>d ending as of midnight August 31, 2006, for the Snack Shop facility at the<br />
Gr<strong>an</strong>ada Golf Course, 2000 Gr<strong>an</strong>ada Blvd., Coral Gables, Florida.<br />
ARTICLE 2<br />
2.1 OPTION TO RENEW: Provided there has been no defa'ult of this<br />
agreement by the LESSEE, the LESSOR may extend this agreemenf for a<br />
maximum of two (2) one (1) year options upon such terms <strong>an</strong>d conditions as the<br />
parties may agree <strong>to</strong>. Such periods shall run consecutively so as <strong>to</strong> make this<br />
agreement continuous in its operation from the beginning <strong>to</strong> its termination, a<br />
period of five (5) years.
