attraction for more
than 50 years.
Situated between Lake Wörthersee and
Klagenfurt city centre, Minimundus is the perfect
destination on your itinerary. It’s easy to
find due to excellent transport connections
(300 m from the Klagenfurt-See motorway
junction). There is free coach parking at the
entrance to the site.
We recommend visitors allow approximately
2 hours to tour the 26,000 m² landscaped
site. The 150 models of famous structures,
trains and ships from all over the world have
explanations in German, English, Italian and
Slovenian. A free site map is available at the
entrance to Minimundus to help you plan your
visit.
Music around the world. Every Wednesday evening
in July and August (8.30 p.m. – 11 p.m.).
Music from all over the world becomes an unbridled
experience of sound before the unique
backdrop of Minimundus. The programme is
included in the entrance fee.
Our guides are happy to take
groups on tours of Minimundus.
The guided tour takes about an hour, during
which you will not only learn historical
facts, but also hear many a story about
Minimundus. Of course you will also visit
the workshops, where the majority of
the models are created and where our
colleagues will give you an insight into a
day in the life of a modeller. For guided
tours we require at least one week’s notice
before your scheduled visit. Guided tours
are given in German, English, Italian,
Slovenian and Croatian.

Coach park: 25 free coach parking spaces.
Tickets: Group rates apply from 20 people or
more. One person must purchase the ticket
for the whole group.
Free tickets: Tour guide goes free for every
20 paying visitors. Tour guide and coach driver

School parties: One accompanying adult
goes free with every 10 children. If the visit
is part of a school excursion, group prices for
children also apply to older students (max.
20 years).
Coach lounge: There is a coach lounge with
free drinks, coffee, tea, Internet connection
and TV for coach drivers and tour guides.
Duration of visit: Approx. 2-3 hours.

Guided tours: Guided tours of the Minimundus
site and workshops can be booked by prior
arrangement. The guided tours take approximately
45 minutes and are conducted in German,
English, Italian, Slovenian and Croatian. Guided
tours cost € 1.50 per person.
Guided musical tours: Experience Minimundus
on a guided nightly tour accompanied by music.
Every Monday in July & August, 8 – 10 pm.
