IGS Cross-Country team has
another good run
We were very fortunate to have a lovely day for the Cross country
held at Queens Park last Thursday the 30 th of May. We had a large
team of 76 students from Years 3 to 6. Congratulations to all
students for their fantastic efforts on an excellent representation
of IGS. It is also important to recognise all the students who have
been attending training regularly.
Thank you to all the parents who attended and supported us on
the day. Good Luck to the following students who will be representing ASISSA at eastern
creek on the 13 th of June.
EVENTS
This year, the International Day theme is International
at home- the world comes to us and we are looking for
parents and carers who are interested in participating in
International Day activities. If you have an idea for a
workshop that fits this theme we would love to hear
from you.
You might like to do a cooking demonstration, teach a traditional dance or a culturally significant song, or run an activity
around a particular theatrical tradition from your country.
Are you or your child’s grandparents a “living book” with a story to tell that comes from a faraway land We would love to
hear your story.
The ideas for workshops and activities can be endless and I would love to discuss any thoughts or ideas you have.
If you can help with a workshop in either the Senior School and/or your child’s Junior School class, please email me at
rosalbag@igssyd.nsw.edu.au or contact me on 92196783.
