Theatresports team rides well on
a second chance
Last Tuesday (4 June), the IGS Senior Theatresports team
competed in the ‘second chance’ heat of the 2013
Theatresports Schools Challenge at Shore School in North
Sydney. The team consisted of Atticus Gough, Elodie
Hennessy-Trupheme, Joseph Knights and Sam Varian.
The stakes were very high, the team who placed first would
be the team to get a second chance at going through to the
finals. From a romantic interlude on a train from Paris to London, ending in a binge eating session to a marine biologist
abandoning a sinking ship to swim to an island, the students eagerly performed with high energy and commitment.
Despite their efforts in creating an Oscar winning moment in Samy’s cake store, the team was unsuccessful in placing first.
The dynamic ensemble are congratulated for their engaging and comic efforts.
