Technol. 2012, 6(01), 28-46 35 The water quality in the Mekong River and its tributaries was classified in the fourth category according to the standards for surface water quality of Thailand certified by the Pollution Control Department [39], and can be used for household consumption after a disinfection process and special water treatment.
