You can find the by-laws in the PAUS membership directory. Contact a by-law committee member near you with your written proposal 90 to 120 days prior to the next annual membership meeting. The voting membership will vote by ballot and will be counted at that meeting. We hope to work on this in the very near future. This will benefit all breeders, whether they are seed stock or meat producers. September 24-27 • Entry Deadline 8/15 Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA. October 6-8 • Entry Deadline 9/1 PAUS National Show in Louisville , KY. November 16-19 • Entry Deadline 10/10 New this year at PAUS-approved shows, World Beef Expo and the Naile: Crossbred tie-in (display) animals sired or calved by a registered full blood piedmontese bull or cow. All animals must be at least 50% piedmontese. They must have health papers with an ear tag or tattoo. Animals must be kept clean and be in good body condition. We are always looking for class sponsors for the National Show in Louisville, KY. For details, contact Bill Vest at 606-725-5970. Don’t forget our Jr. Showmanship Class at the National Show. The Jr. Showman does not have to own the animal he shows, but the animal must have been shown in its age group class. There will be gold and silver belt buckles for the winners and trophies for all entries. (There is no entry fee for this class) PAUS blocked 22 rooms at the Ramada Inn out side gate 4 of the Louisville Show. They will hold the rooms until October 15, 2008. The cost of each room with tax is $103.53. For reservations call 1-502-637-6336. There are other motels in the area but no rooms are blocked, check the internet or call for prices and availability.
