Student healthcare programs and camps<br />
As part of their 10 th year anniversary celebration, <strong>Isha</strong>‟s Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR)<br />
program conducted student health and hygiene camps in four Coimbatore schools, reaching<br />
987 students and 32 teachers.<br />
On November 17 th and 18 th , approximately 150 students from our Semmedu, Thondamuthur<br />
and Narasipuram schools were screened and treated at <strong>Isha</strong> <strong>Outreach</strong>‟s "Arogya Alai" mega<br />
camp at Alandurai School. 33 NSS students from Alandurai School volunteered in the multispecialty<br />
camp, which was held in conjunction with Apollo Hospitals.<br />
During the year, we also conducted free camps to identify student blood-types to include in<br />
student records. The Coimbatore camps, sponsored by <strong>Isha</strong> Yoga Center‟s local welfare<br />
department and conducted by the <strong>Isha</strong> Rural Health Clinic in Alandurai, reached 685<br />
students from three schools. In Salem, 150 students went through blood-type identification<br />
camps at the <strong>Isha</strong> Rural Health Clinic in Kullappanaickanur.<br />
