BASIC USE
Manufactured by HBI, Inc., Nyalic ® is a
clear polymeric resin coating that protects
against chemical and environmental
corrosion on ferrous and non-ferrous
metals, galvanized, anodized and powder
coated surfaces, as well as restores
oxidized painted surfaces. Designed to
withstand extreme temperatures and UV
rays, this surface protectant is ideal for
highly moist or corrosive environments
and performs at film thicknesses as low
as 5 microns. Nyalic is effective for
environments exposed to acids,
salts,water, heavy snow, ice, sea air and
lime. It can be applied by brush, roller or
sprayer system or can be factory-applied
by NFC professionals.

COMPOSITION & MATERIALS
Nyalic is an ultra-thin proprietary
formulation of polymeric resins.
TYPES & SIZES
Standard and anti-microbial formulas of
Nyalic are offered in 1 gallon (3.79 L)
containers and 12 oz (340 g) aerosol
cans.
COLOR
Nyalic is clear.

LIMITATIONS
Solvent-based chemicals can damage
Nyalic-coated surfaces. Avoid using
solvent-based cleaning solutions.
Damaged surfaces can be repaired with
Nyalic aerosol can.

5. Installation
PREPARATORY WORK
An NFC proprietary surface preparation
product should be used to remove all
surface contaminants prior to coating.
Surface must be completely dry before
application begins.
METHODS
Nyalic can be applied by brush, roller or
sprayer.
PRECAUTIONS
Use a respirator when applying by
sprayer; use gloves for other application
methods. Apply in a well-ventilated work
area.
BUILDING CODES
Installation must comply with
requirements of all applicable local, state
and federal code jurisdictions. Good
workmanship, coupled with proper
detailing and design, ensure durable,
functional and watertight construction.

Nyalic is only available directly from NFC.

7. Warranty
Nyalic has a limited 5-year warranty.

8. Maintenance
Properly installed Nyalic requires no
special maintenance and resists dirt
accumulation.
To clean a surface, use NFC’s Right
Rinse TM and very light agitation with a soft
bristle brush. Use of solvent-based
cleaners will void the warranty.
Scratches and abrasions can be field
repaired using Nyalic in an aerosol can.
