LACROSSE Registration going on NOW!
All 3 rd – 8 th graders, come and play the oldest team sport in North America! Games will be played in
June and July, and will be played throughout Utah Valley. Participants will be responsible for
obtaining their own equipment. Rental equipment (helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves)
will be available through local retailers. Participants must provide their own stick and mouth guard.
Registration will begin March 1 st . League fees: 3 rd & 4 th Grades - $55; 5 th & 6 th Grades - $65; 7 th & 8 th
Grades - $75
MAPLETON CITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR
COME AND SING! We are now enrolling for the Mapleton City Children's Choir 4th performance
season! Children learn why music is an art, and have fun discovering that they are in fact the
instrument that makes music beautiful. Children have the opportunity to learn rounds, canons, parts,
and the art of performance. The Choir will meet through May and will prepare for a Spring concert.
Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. Choir Director Heidi Bezzant studied music at
Brigham Young University, and has directed the Timpanogos Children's Choir in Lindon. She also
enjoys playing the violin and maintains a select private studio in her home as well as works
professionally as a recording artist and performer. To register or to inquire for more information,

4:45-5:45 p.m. Fee $40 (Sibling discount rate $30) per month, plus one-time registration fee of $10.
YOGA
Enjoy the benefits of yoga: increased strength, flexibility and muscle tone, mental
focus, endurance, and reduced stress. Modified Ashtanga Yoga combined with
Power Yoga classes will be taught by Valerie Littleton or Adabelle Carson, certified
instructors. The classes will be Tue., and Thur., 6:00 – 7:00 am OR Mon., and Wed.,
8:30 – 9:30 pm at the Community Center (125 W 400 N). Register at the Recreation
Office or at class. The session will be February 1 st thru April 26 th . Fee is $60.00
per session OR $25 per month. Class minimum – 12 students.
YOUTH BALLROOM DANCING
Attention all teens!!! Come learn to dance!!! Ballroom dancing is the new cool! Meet youth from Utah
Valley!! Classes will be taught by BYU ballroom dance students beginning on December 16th for our
Christmas dance (at Merit Academy, Springville) and they will continue every third Friday (March –
May at Memorial Hall, Mapleton) and our last dance will be in May. $7.00 for each dance or $35.00
for the 6-month session. Ages 14-18 yrs. We need to make sure we have enough room. We expect

All Mapleton Elementary, Hobble Creek Elementary, and Sierra Bonita Elementary 3 rd – 6 th graders,
are invited to participate in the Mapleton’s Hershey Track & Field Games! Registration now available
