GENERAL OPERATING PROCEDURES

Fill unit with material to be spread.
Place bin level console switch in on position or activate feature in “7”.
Stand alone control box: Light illuminates and buzzer sounds when bin is empty.
“7” controller: Warning message appears on run screen when bin is low.
MAINTENANCE
NOTICE!
Wipe sensor clean periodically to prevent accumulation of product. Avoid wet material as it may
stick to sensor. If material sticks to sensor it won’t warn user when bin is low.
Clean sensor with long handled brush or hose from outside of spreader. Do not aim high pressure sprayer directly
at sensor—it could damage the components.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom:
Hopper empties with no low bin warning.
Resolution:
1. Program controller to count down product with low
bin warning.
2. Return to shop, shut off all power and allow all
moving parts to come to rest.
3. Get a ladder and set it so sensor can be seen.
4. Clean sensor per Maintenance instructions above.
5. Test sensor per instructions.
