BLACKMON DOMINATES IN DENVER<br />

Second-year WR Justin Blackmon returned from suspension in Week<br />

5 at St. Louis and he showed his immediate impact by catching five<br />

passes for 136 yards (27.2 yards/rec). The following week, Blackmon<br />

caught 14 passes for 190 yards (13.6 yards/rec.) in Week 6 at Denver.<br />

Blackmon was suspended indefinitely on November 1, 2013.<br />

SANDERS AMONG JAGUARS BEST ROOKIES<br />

Rookie WR/PR Ace Sanders was selected in the fourth round (101st<br />

overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of South Carolina. Sanders finished<br />

the 2013 season with 51 receptions for 484 yards (9.5 yards/rec.) and<br />

one TD (he also threw a TD pass to RB Jordan Todman). Sanders’ 51<br />

receptions are the second-most by a rookie in Jaguars history, trailing<br />

Justin Blackmon’s 64 receptions in 2012.<br />

In 2013, third-year WR Cecil Shorts III led the team with 66 receptions<br />

for 777 yards (11.8 yards/rec.) and three TDs. With his TD<br />

reception in Week 13 at Cleveland, Shorts became the seventh wide<br />

receiver in team history to register 100-plus receptions and 10-plus<br />

TDs in their career with Jacksonville.<br />
