It means that T4 can work in the whole world in moderate, cold, dry, tropical and damp
climates”- said Mr Kruszyński. Additionally T4 is the Polish computer that not only meets
military standards for the N.14 group required by Polish Army but extends them. The norm
for the N.14 group requires for devices only to be watertight. It is important that the
requirement applies to devices which are switched off. T4 is waterproof and moreover is able
to work under water two hours at a depth of 1 m. In T4 there are implemented the two
following functions:
• accelerometer which enables to adjust the displayed image to the current position of
the device;
• magnetometr - compass.
T4 is equipped with transmission interfaces: WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM module, GPS,
video camera. Software implemented in terminal enables the transmission of data from
battlefield in a real time. Receivers of data get exact position of all friend forces. Objects in
the area are identified and mapped on the maps of the system, so that commanders have full
information on the subordinate forces. T4 begins the new line of computers that meet
requirements of N.14 Polish military standards.
