Anesthetizing Chambers and Workstations<br />
Scavenged Anesthetizing Chamber<br />
For use in conjunction with the Fluovac. It is easy to use–simply plug a size<br />
one mask into the rear socket, turn on the Fluovac and gas supply.<br />
When the animal(s) are anesthetized the inner chamber slides forward<br />
allowing the gas supply to be diverted and the chamber scavenged. During<br />
this process fresh air is drawn into the inner chamber to help scavenge any<br />
residual anesthetic gas.<br />
The following sizes are the dimensions of the inner chamber only. Please<br />
note that there are two sizes available. The smaller is designed specifically<br />
for use with a single animal.<br />

This system is used when one chamber<br />
is sufficient and use of both Size 1 Masks are<br />
also required. If two chambers are required to<br />
give sufficient output and masks are not required<br />
then the use of the following system is suggested.<br />

With expertise in design and engineering, Harvard Apparatus Ltd has<br />
manufactured many items to our customer’s specification. Pictured below<br />
is a complete down draft, height adjustable mobile anesthetizing table. It<br />
has built in power supply, gas regulators, flowmeters and isoflourane<br />
vaporizer, high intensity cold light source, simple snap fit anesthetic mask<br />
connections, surgical tray connections and heated surgical board. This was<br />
developed to plug into a customer’s existing scavenging systems. The height<br />
adjustment is made with a hand held remote control and has 10 preset<br />
heights ensuring perfect operating conditions for each user.<br />
