Attacks on AES
• XSL Cryptanalysis – A new attack method
developed in 2002, Analyses ciphers
internal workings and generates a system
on nonlinear simultaneous equations.
– AES analyses to 8000 equations and 1600
unknowns.
– It is arguable if this can be solved any faster
than a brute force attack.
