Reading Camp
We will be running a reading camp for nine mornings (8:30 - 11 A.M.) from 27 June to 8 July.
Reading support is given in 45 minute slots and arrangements can be made with Stowe Recreation so
that children can come to and from reading camp. Parents of students entering grade 1-3, who are
interested in discussing the possibility of enrolling their children, should contact Mrs. Janet Larson,
Early Literacy Specialist at our school.
Accounts Paid
We are near the end of the year and we respectfully ask that you make sure that your children’s lunch
accounts are fully paid. All library books and/or other loaned school materials must be returned before
the end of the school year.
Rocks at Community Mtg.
From Third Graders, Ashley, Atticus and Jack:
On 3 June, everyone should bring a rock to school for the rock pile. At community meeting, the third
grade will be leading everyone in the school to the rock pile. You should remind your child to bring a
rock to the rock pile because it helps animals like spiders, snakes and bugs find a home. People can
make wishes on their rocks, draw on their rocks, or write their names on their rocks. It represents your
child and shows that he or she has been in the school. Don’t forget 3 June. The kindergarten will make
music for our parade!

Swab the Deck, Pizza Delivery, Meltdown, Wet your Noodle and Atomic Clothesline Blast is just a
few of the many games to be played on Celebration Day. Contact Jen Volansky. Come join the fun by
