STOWE HIGH SCHOOLOPEN CAMPUSSENIOR TRANSITIONAL PLAN• Open Campus is a privilege for seniors only.• Seniors must apply for the privilege. They must have parental permission.• Students must maintain a 75% average in each course in which they areenrolled.• Grades are reviewed each quarter. Fourth quarter grades in the 11 th gradedetermine eligibility for the beginning of the senior year.• Community Service hours are reviewed each quarter. Students must have 20community service hours before the 1 st day of their senior year to be eligible.• Students must sign out and sign back in each time they leave the building.The student must sign in and out personally and may not delegate thatresponsibility.• Students must be on time for class.• Students may not leave school grounds during the lunch period unless theyhave free time prior to or after the lunch period.• Students who are late for class as a result of the privilege receive thefollowing penalties:First Offense – suspension of privilege for four (4) weeks.Second Offense – loss of privilege for the year.• Students who drive other students off school property shall lose the privilege.• An un-entititled senior or an underclassman who leaves school property willface the following penalties:Senior – no opportunity for privilege and appropriate detention.Underclassman – appropriate detention or other discipline.• Any junior who leaves school property without permission during his/her junior year,will lose Open Campus privileges for the first quarter of his/her senior year.• When a student who has Open Campus privileges is late to any class, the teacher willreport that tardiness to the office. The office will verify if the student left schoolproperty and assign the appropriate penalty.OVER

Iunderstand the qualifications which are necessary for this privilege and the consequencesfor the abuse of this privilege.The rules and parameters of this program are described on the reverse side of thisapplication. Senior grades are checked at the quarter.
