regiment until the day of his death occurred the 24 February 1760 in Susa. He is buried in the<br />
temple of Ciabàs in Angrogna San Giovanni (TO).<br />

present at Camposanto with 139 losses, Chateau Dauphin (1 st , 2 nd Bns). 1744: it lost about 360<br />
(18%) men in Varaita Valley (combats of Rochaz and Pierrelongue), colonel Roguin killed in<br />
action. Madonna dell’Olmo. 1745. Bassignana (1 st Bn), defence of Tortona (2 nd Bn), defence of<br />
Alessandria (3 rd Bn). 1746: Asti (1 st Bn), siege of Valenza. 1747: Liguria campaign (1 st , 2 nd Bns),<br />
with Regt. Kalbermatten it was decisive for the victory at the Assiette Gap (3 rd Bns), Stura di<br />
Demonte. During the conflict it had been suffered heavy losses but it proved to be, with<br />
Kalbermatten, the best fighting regiment of the whole Sabaudian army.<br />
