Species Information
Louis Kemp Surimi is one of the best-selling, premium
crab substitutes available today, but with our new process
and formula it now looks, tastes and even feels more like
real crab meat. Made from minced and de-boned Alaskan
whitefish, then cooked and formed into the shape of
genuine crabmeat, our Surimi Super Shred is loaded with
protein and contains no MSG. It’s extravagant dining at a
fraction of the cost…and your customers will never know
the difference.
Handling Instructions
Frozen product (0ºF) has an eighteen month shelf life, use
within 3 to 5 days after thawing (35ºF). These products are
packaged in vacuum packed bags and pasteurized.
To maintain product quality, thaw overnight in the
refrigerator or under cold running water. Refreezing is
not recommended.
