Conducting Organization<br />
The International Golf Federation, previously known<br />
as the <strong>World</strong> <strong>Amateur</strong> Golf Council, which comprises<br />
national governing bodies of golf in 119 countries,<br />
conducts the Women’s <strong>World</strong> <strong>Amateur</strong> <strong>Team</strong><br />
<strong>Championship</strong>.<br />
Host Organization<br />
The Asociación Argentina de Golf is the host.<br />
The <strong>Team</strong>s<br />
May be two or three players per team.<br />
Format<br />
72 holes stroke play; 18 holes played on each of four<br />
days.<br />
Scoring<br />
In each round, the total of the two lowest scores by<br />
players from each team constitutes the team score for<br />
that round. The four-day total is the team’s score for<br />
the championship.<br />

Schedule of Play<br />
• Wednesday, Oct. 20 — First round (18 holes)<br />
• Thursday, Oct. 21 — Second round (18 holes)<br />
• Friday, Oct. 22 — Third round (18 holes)<br />
• Saturday, Oct. 23 — Fourth round (18 holes)<br />
Miscellaneous<br />
Players must be amateur golfers under the Rules of<br />
<strong>Amateur</strong> Status of either The R&A or the United States<br />
Golf Association. Players must be citizens of the country<br />
represented.<br />
Sites<br />
The championship is rotated biennially among three<br />
geographic zones: Asia-Pacific, American and European-<br />
African. The 2012 championship will be played in<br />
Antalya, Turkey.
