New Youth Group Names
EDGE is our Middle School (6th-8th) youth ministry.
Its name stands for Every Day God Exalted.
IMAGE is our High School (9th- 12th) youth ministry.
Its name stands for In My All God Exalted.
Both logos are taken from I Corinthians 10:31 and highlight our youth
ministry’s purpose statement – We exist to glorify God as we proclaim
Jesus Christ as Lord and prepare students to worship Him forever.

Building Update
You don’t want to miss the all-church meeting at Camp Good News
tonight at 6 p.m! We will meet with the architects and builders to discuss
our current ministries and future in the new building. This is a great
opportunity to build community and raise awareness of our various BCC
ministries. You will have the opportunity to provide input verbally or on
written comment cards. Childcare will be provided.
Ministry meetings with the architects will be held Tuesday and Wednesday
this week.The meeting times and places are as follows:

The first beMOM large group meeting for this year will be Tuesday, Sept.
11 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room. All moms of any age are invited.

Awana begins this Wednesday at Camp Good News at 6 p.m. If you have
not preregistered your child, go to the registration building first. If you have
preregistered, take your child directly to his club.
The Gospel Institute courses begin Monday, Sept. 17. Classes offered
this semester are Systematic Theology I and Delight in Discovery: Uncovering
Treasures of Truth in the Scriptures. Go to www.peoriagospelinstitute.org

All moms are invited to a beMOM playdate at the Washington Park
District gym on Wed., Sept. 19 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Contact Christine

• Four helpers for childcare during Monday night classes. Contact

There will be a baby shower for David and Maggie Diaz on Sept. 22 at
9 a.m. in the Community room. David and Maggie are registered at Babies
R Us and Land of Nod.
BCC desires to be a church where all are served well. The Buddy Program
has opportunities to sub with a child with a special need. We are
also looking for a point person and sub to serve an adult with a special
