To us, “great stuff” means the perfect mix of information<br />
and products that reflect the current zeitgeist.<br />
All LigaStudios content is selected, compiled and<br />
presented to the highest standards possible. Our target group<br />
- the cosmopolitan travellers of this world – want to receive<br />
inspirational input on a daily basis and be updated with the<br />
latest happenings in their particular fields of interest. They are<br />
looking for the appropriate products to match their lifestyle.<br />

How does LigaStudios differ from<br />
other online platforms and shops<br />
LigaStudios differentiates itself from other platforms<br />
by its fundamental approach, content and style of<br />
presentation. We launched LigaStudios with a specific<br />
level of value in mind. It is our aim to create contemporary<br />
classics and operate close to the zeitgeist – more ‘Mad Men’<br />
than ‘Sex and the City’! And LigaStudios won’t just be active<br />
online; we also want to make relevant content tangible<br />
through events and later, our own shops. We want to inspire<br />
a way of life, to bring people with the same lifestyle together<br />

How would you describe a<br />
Cosmopolitan Traveller<br />

Cosmopolitan Traveller can live anywhere in this<br />
world. He is defined not by his location but more<br />
by his openness, his interest for zeitgeist themes,<br />
his curiosity, and his high standards: he enjoys seeing<br />
behind the scenes and wants to be updated on a daily<br />
basis. He appreciates aesthetic, quality and authenticity –<br />
with a love for detail. For this mind-set, the cosmopolitan<br />
traveller needs relevant products and fashion. It is our aim<br />
to provide both via LigaStudios.

Along with the LigaStudios journal, a shop<br />
and a private label is planned for 2012.<br />
Tell us about the underlying concept.<br />
It will mostly be Scandinavian and contemporary classics<br />
that suit our style. Attention to detail and high-quality<br />
craftsmanship will also be important criteria when<br />
selecting pieces. For the development of our private label,<br />
we intend to concentrate on a few, carefully selected masterpieces<br />
– timeless favourites, which are comfortable and<br />
easy to combine with one another. Our entire range will be<br />
distinguished by high quality, zeitgeist-orientated and<br />
affordable products.

How and when was the idea for<br />
LigaStudios born<br />
Our style and our corporate culture at LIGANOVA<br />
have always been influenced by innovation and<br />
zeitgeist. We always think “through-the-line”,<br />
particularly for client projects. For us it was a natural<br />
consequence to combine our experience, our lifestyle and<br />
our demands into a product. And so, in 2010, the first idea<br />
for LigaStudios was developed. Here, all the professional<br />
skills that we have here at LIGANOVA are combined –<br />
from brand communication, design and architecture, right<br />
through to product placement and online services.<br />
LigaStudios is our own lab, where we are free to experiment.<br />
I’m curious myself to see just what we will think of!
