Ideal for IT environments with data-intensive networks,
the Exabyte 430 M2 Tape Library brings convenient,
high-performance, dependable automation technology
to backup. The Exabyte 430 accommodates up to four
M2 tape drives and 30 data cartridges and offers the
ability to conduct unattended operations for over
10 hours.
The 430 library occupies just five rack units and two cubic
feet, utilizing very little space and maximizing the use of
valuable data center space. Designed to provide a scalable
solution and protect the user’s investment, the library allows
users to start with as few as one drive and ten cartridges and
easily add drives and cartridges as their data storage needs
grow. Exabyte’s award-winning M2 drives are field-replaceable,
allowing for ease of service and the ability to upgrade to futuregeneration
drives, further protecting the user’s investment. The
modular design of the 430 also allows for integration of other
tape technologies, including LTO and SDLT.
The Exabyte 430 is supported by all major third-party software
applications for ease of connectivity. The intuitive operator
interface guides users through library and drive status,
diagnostics and help functions.
