Healthy Ecosystem
Bedlam awakens the wise old sage,
Resonates, ‘How do we combat nature’s rage
Degraded environment amplifying the disaster threat,
Climate change lampooning every breath.
Burgeoning temperature, floods, landslide, droughts won’t thwart,
Disasters ruining livelihoods, how will we put a stop
The sophist articulates,
‘Conserving water, preserving forests, mangroves, coral reefs is the
elixir,
Lending resilience, metamorphosing into natural buffers and physical
barriers.
Save water, protect Earth, the commonly hailed jargon,
Healthy and well managed ecosystem is the enduring bargain’.
For disaster risk reduction, keep environment pristine in every hue,
Otherwise in the future, by loss of lives, we will have to pay the dues.
