A new musical play for St. Mary’s by Geoff Oliver
During Drama week, Monday 11 th – Saturday 16 th April 2011, our school will present five
performances of our latest production, a new musical play: PanDora
The story, devised by the senior Production Team members, is a new version of the famous Greek
legend of Pandora’s Box. In the original legend Pandora, the first woman in the world, was given a box to
guard and told never to open it. However her curiosity overcame her and she opened the box thereby
releasing all the evils which were contained inside, out into the world.
The play is produced and directed by Geoff Oliver and co-directed by Ms Eudora Lee. It is a
musical play and contains some lovely songs with music by student Katie So 6C and her composing team.
Choreography is by past student Mary Mak.

本 校 謹 訂 於 二 零 一 一 年 四 月 十 一 日 ( 星 期 一 ) 至 四 月 十 六 日 ( 星 期 六 ) 公 演 英 語 音 樂 劇 「 潘 朵 拉 」。
「 潘 朵 拉 」 一 劇 改 編 自 著 名 的 希 臘 神 話 「 潘 朵 拉 的 盒 子 」。 據 原 著 記 載 , 潘 朵 拉 是 世 界 上 的 第 一 個
女 人 , 她 奉 命 要 守 護 著 一 個 神 秘 的 盒 子 , 不 可 以 打 開 。 但 是 潘 朵 拉 最 終 敵 不 過 好 奇 心 的 誘 惑 , 偷 偷 的 把 盒
子 打 開 了 。 結 果 , 盒 子 裏 的 災 難 和 罪 惡 全 都 被 釋 放 出 來 , 在 人 類 的 世 界 四 散 遺 禍 。
本 戲 劇 由 Mr Geoffrey Oliver 聯 同 戲 劇 製 作 組 的 同 學 改 編 , 並 由 Ms Eudora Lee 擔 任 助 導 。 劇 中 的 原
創 樂 曲 由 中 六 丙 班 蘇 詠 恩 及 她 的 作 曲 團 隊 創 作 , 而 舞 蹈 則 由 畢 業 生 麥 淑 螢 編 排 , 效 果 讓 人 耳 目 一 新 。 戲 劇
