TAB_TYPE_CONFIG - new field for Type or Format created by the combination of fields; e.g. LDR and 

008,etc. These can be used in CCL searches; e.g. wtp=computer game. The creation of each TYP is 

found in the tab_type_config table at: 

http://aleph.mnpals.net/tables/u18_1/sys01/tab/tab_type_config.eng. The list below is in alphabetical 

order for ease in finding the various TYPs and then using them in CCL searches. Yet, this is NOT the 

order you will find them in the table. NOTE: Go to the table to see the order in which these terms are 

assigned to a bib record. It is that ORDER which will assign a TYP or multiple TYPs to the bib record. If 

you look at the record in Full View, these types will be listed at the end of the MARC record with the name 

of 'Format'; e.g. Format . For this example, there are 3 TYPs which meet 

the criteria. But, is listed first because it appears first in the Order of the tab_type_config 

table. When you first see the title in the OPAC's Results List, only one TYP/Format will be listed next to 

the title. It will be the "first" TYP/Format listed in the Order; e.g. Aa is for aardvark /
