Rules & Guidelines for the Paper Presentation
1. The number of authors per paper are limited to two studying BE/B.Tech.
2. Interested candidates are advised to mail the abstract of the paper before 08 th September 2012 to
ppt.electrendz@aec.edu.in with in the Subject line of the mail.
3. The soft copy should be in either .doc, .docx or .pdf formats
4. The participants of shortlisted candidates will be informed by E-Mail ID or by Mobile by 10 th
September 2012.
5. The short listed candidates have to mail their paper in IEEE format 12 th September 2012. Presentation
should in should be in .ppt or pptx format. .And the participants should intimate their confirmation
two days prior to their presentation so that their schedule boarding & Lodging will be arranged.
6. The maximum time allocated for each paper will be 12 minutes [10 min for presentation+2 minutes
for Queries].
7. The registration fee per paper is ` 200/-
8. The judge’s decision is final in any regard.
9. All the candidates will get participation certificates.
10. There will be first and second prizes.
11. The participants will be provided with free lunch in the canteen on the day of presentation.
12. The participants can utilize the college bus facility provided from Rajahmundry & Kakinada.
13. If any outstation candidates are participating, they will be provided with the free accommodation in
college premises on prior request.
14. The participants should come with college ID Card and Bonafide Certificate.

4. Power Quality & Control
5. Recent Trends in FACTS
6. MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems)
7. Smart Grid
8. Power Semi Conductor Drives
9. Advanced Control Systems
10. Any advanced topics related to electrical engineering.
