Aditya Group of Engineering CollegesCCCCCCCCCCCCCThe hostel rooms are subject to inspection by the college / Hostel authorities to make surethat they are kept neat and tidy and no unauthorized items like liquor, drugs, lethal weaponsetc., are kept in the room.Students are also not allowed to use electric appliances like heater / cooker / immersion rod ,electric iron and any inflammable material etc. if found using them it will be confiscated and afine will be imposed.Smoking consumption of liquor inside or out side the hostel and use of intoxicants are strictlyprohibited.Television sets of the hostel will be available during the following timings :-Monday to Friday : 4.00 P.M to 7.00 P.MSunday & Holidays : 8.00 A.M to 10.00 A.M & 4.00 P.M to 7.00 P.MPrior to Holiday : 4.00 P.M to 10.00 P.M.Out passes will not be issued from Monday to Friday under any circumstances. In case ofurgency, the approval of the parent is mandatory.Bus(es) for outing will be arranged on every Sunday at 12.00 noon. Students shall in no casereturn to the hostel after 8.00 P.M or as other wise notified (which ever is earlier) except incase of emergency with the prior permission of hostel warden / chief warden.Attendance will be taken in the hostel every evening and morning at a given time. Absencewithout leave during the night is a punishable offence and fine of RS.500/- will be imposedwhich has to be paid within two days. If repeated, the inmate may be fined RS.1000/- or askedto vacate the hostel.No student is allowed to stay in the hostel during regular classes. Students absenting themselvesfrom regular classes will have to take the permission of the Warden / Chief Warden /HOD.Day scholars are not allowed to stay in the hostel. If they are found in any room, a fine ofRS.1000/- will be imposed to the hosteller who allowed the day scholar.Students will be responsible for the safe keeping of their own belongings. In the event of lossof the personal property of a student due to theft, fire or any other cause, the Institute shallaccept no responsibility and shall not be liable for payment of any compensation.Clothing should not be washed in the hostel. Only inner wear can be washed and dried up onthe stand provided for the purpose.Waste material, if any, should be deposited in the dust bin only. In case, if it is thrown outfrom the balcony, a heavy penalty will be imposed.The hostellers should not enter into any unnecessary conversation, quarrel or altercation withthe hostel staff. If anyone has any complaint against any employee of the hostel, a writtencomplaint against the person is to be lodged with the Warden. Use of abusive, vulgar andunparliamentary language against the hostel/mess staff is strictly forbidden.12

The Libraries are spacious, well-litand modern with an excellent ambience. They have Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) throughwhich user can search library material availability from his desk top within the campus. Aditya Group of Engineering CollegesRules & RegulationsCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCollege works from 9.30 a.m to 4.20 p.m.Students are requested to be regular and punctual to the classes.Students should be seated at the lecture halls 5 minutes before the commencement of classes.Students should maintain perfect order and strict discipline inside lecture halls, laboratoriesand workshops.Observation notebooks should be brought to the laboratory classes. Record of experimentsdone in a particular class should be submitted in the next laboratory class.Assignments given to the students should be submitted before the due date for considerationof internal assessment marks.The minimum instruction days for each semester shall be 95 clear instruction days.A minimum of 85% attendance in each semester is insisted.A Student will not be promoted to the next semester unless he satisfies the attendance requirementof the present semester.Students should take prior written permission before absenting for the classes. Failure in thisrespect will be informed to the parents.All boys are expected to wear pants with full hand shirts tucked in. Jeans / T-Shirts and casualwears are strictly avoided inside the college campus. They should wear shoes only.All girls should wear chudidhar with ‘V’ shaped dhupata pinned on either sides of the shoulder.Students should attend the laboratory classes with the specified laboratory coat / uniform.Each student will be provided with an identity card. They should wear college ID daily insidethe campus.The student will be attached to the counsellor.
