At St Cenydd we believe that we are a supportive, friendly school, which
at the same time maintains high standards of care, discipline and above all
achievement.
We want pupils to enjoy coming to school, feel safe and see learning as
both exciting and as a life long challenge.
This prospectus should enable you to see how we try to turn this vision
into reality. We are immensely proud of the school and what it has
achieved over recent years. These achievements have been recognised by
Estyn Inspectors who in our last Inspection report said of the school,
“ St Cenydd school is a very good school with a distinctively caring and inclusive ethos. There are
many outstanding features in the quality of education it provides and in the effectiveness of its
leadership and management.” Estyn 2007
The next few years will as always bring many new challenges. We are determined to build on our successes, to
help our young people to further develop the skills, knowledge, enthusiasm and confidence to succeed in a
rapidly changing world.
