Commitments to conservation for next 3 yrs: Our prime focus is on barricading maximum open or unprotected wells <br />
in the Gir forest area. We gave a spark in Sep' 07 and invoked the corporate giants to come forward. Now our job is <br />
to still catalyse this act and make it as fast as possible and with in few years protect all the open wells surrounding <br />
Gir areas. In last five years lion population growth was 32 and death due to open wells was 25. If we successfully <br />
prevent open well deaths, it would be our dream achieved. <br />
Species of special interest: Asiatic Lion and Gir Biodiversity. <br />

Contribution to Wildlife conservation since last 3 yrs: Presently working as a surgeon in monkey sterilization centre <br />
in Wildlife, a project run by Dept. of Forest, Himachal Pradesh at Dhauladhar Nature Park Gopalur, Dist. Kangra, <br />
Himachal Pradesh. 30 to 50 monkeys are sterilized daily by laparoscopic sterilization method a most advanced <br />
method of sterilization. Totally sterilized about 900 monkeys till date. <br />
Species of special interest: I have interest mainly in birds and animals -‐ Leopard, Lion, Himalayan black bear, Sambar, <br />
Hog deer, Barking deer. In birds-‐Western tragopan, Jungle fowl, Peacock, Kaliz, Owl.
